
Most of us spend the majority of our time working. It could be working at a job, doing schoolwork or at your own business. We can get so engrossed in our work that we forget to take a break. You may have heard or read about the importance of taking a break but you may feel that it will be a distraction.
However, taking a break is beneficial. It doesn't have to be long. You could go get a cup of coffee, walk to a colleague’s desk and have a brief conversation. Closing your eyes and meditating for a few minutes or taking a walk outside.
We can easily miss the significance of taking a time out. Walking outside away from the office or away from the current task will help clear your mind. For a brief moment, the stress from work is kept at bay. Talking with a colleague, meditating, or that quick walk may bring inspiration, rejuvenation and most importantly keep away stress.
